Flavours of Fall
Posted: Sep 30, 2019

Browned butter, ginger and sage, pumpkin spice – the flavours of Fall. From Starbucks’ infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte to Kelly’s limited-edition Thanksgiving menu, we’re going to celebrate the season the only way we know how – eating our way through downtown Burlington’s favourite autumn treats.

Bodhi Bar
2027 Lakeshore Road

Fall in love with your Bodhi. This Fall at Bodhi Bar, treat your body and your tastebuds with one of their cold-pressed juices or freshly-made smoothies, packed with seasonal flavours.

Everything nice comes with pumpkin spice. Try Bodhi’s Pumpkin Spice Smoothie loaded with organic pumpkin, organic vanilla, organic banana, organic medjool dates, organic cinnamon, and organic nutmeg. Or, quench your thirst with one of their two seasonal juices. Sweetie Pie (organic beets, carrots, apples, ginger, and cinnamon) and Spice Girl (organic carrots, apples, ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon) are both cold-pressed and ready for individual sale or part of a cleanse package at Bohdi Bar.

Your gut and your taste-buds will thank-you.

Sunshine Doughnuts
439 Brock Ave

We believe in one very basic rule: eat more hole-foods. And folks, that’s our dad-joke for the day.

Seriously though, no one does doughnuts like Sunshine does doughnuts, and this Fall they’re bringing pumpkin spice to a hole new level. Moist and fluffy – their spiced pumpkin cake, topped with feathery cream cheese frosting is foodie #goals.

Starbucks

Three words: Pumpkin Spice Latte – a sweet, espresso drink with the celebrated flavour combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin spices. This little bevy is all over the ‘gram and the hottest drink of the season. Prefer the cold version? Go for the PSL Frappuccino. You can also find these yummy treats on Starbucks seasonal menu: Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Salted Caramel Mocha, Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino, Pump Cream Cheese Muffin, and Pumpkin Scone.

Oh Canada, Tim Horton’s just spiced their entire menu. From latte to Timbit and everything in between, Tim’s has sprinkled pumpkin spice on just about everything. Take a stroll on a breezy autumn day with a hot Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pumpkin Spice Tea Latte – or try it as an Iced Capp. Feeling hungry? There’s pumpkin spice for that. Have your hand at a pumpkin spice muffin, Timbit or doughnut.
