As stewards of the Burlington Downtown business district, the Burlington Downtown Business Area (BDBA) is committed to cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, equitable, and welcoming community. Our goal is to ensure that the Downtown reflects and celebrates Burlington’s unique local identity, through the transformation of public spaces and the continued promotion of our thriving small business ecosystem.
As a Local Board of the City of Burlington, operating under the principles of good governance, we have a very clear and legislated mandate. We are an organization dedicated to community building and enhancing awareness of our Downtown small business district. We are proud to represent our members, while remaining focused on the broader vision of a Downtown that serves and inspires the entire Burlington community. We are an organization with members, but not a member-driven organization.
Through our work, we strive to create a safe, inviting, and visually inspiring environment. One that encourages meaningful connections between business owners, residents, and visitors alike.
