More than 85 downtown businesses are already part of the Burlington Downtown Gift Card program, and we’d love to welcome you too. Together, we can bring more people through your doors, increase your visibility, and support a strong and thriving downtown economy.
The Burlington Downtown Gift Card is an exclusive BDBA member benefit created to help promote participating businesses and encourage more in‑store and online purchases. It works just like a shopping mall gift card, giving customers the freedom to shop at any participating location throughout our downtown.
Click the link below to complete the electronic form and confirm your participation. Once you’re signed up, a member of our team will reach out to guide you through the final onboarding steps. Let’s make it easier for people to shop local and discover everything Burlington Downtown has to offer.
Green Lanyard Project
The Green Lanyard Project is a Burlington Downtown initiative promoting inclusivity and accessibility for neurodivergent individuals.
In partnership with Peachey Counselling, the program offers free green lanyards to signal that the wearer, or someone in their group, may have an invisible disability and could benefit from extra patience and empathy while navigating downtown. The initiative aims to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and create a more welcoming environment for all community members.
Beautification, Placemaking & Infrastructure
We’re committed to keeping Burlington Downtown accessible and future-ready.
Placemaking is at the heart of what makes Burlington Downtown feel welcoming and uniquely ours. Through creative installations, public art, seasonal décor, interactive spaces, and enhanced pedestrian experiences, we transform everyday corners into memorable experiences.
These initiatives are designed to foster community connection, support local businesses, and invite residents and visitors to linger, explore, and engage. From mural projects and pop-up patios to festive lighting and street-level activations, placemaking helps bring our streets to life, one thoughtful detail at a time.
