Meet Sierra, owner of Toast Event Space.

1. Tell us a little bit about your company – what is Toast Event Space all about?

Toast Event Space is all about gathering amazing people, building community, fostering connections and making memories. We provide a destination for you to curate an unforgettable experience for your guests to celebrate life’s milestones and special moments, host corporate and work events, workshops, classes and more.

2. Why did you choose Burlington Downtown to open your new location?

I absolutely love Downtown Burlington! So much so that I even live Downtown. When I discovered Village Square, there is this magic quality to the cobbled walkways and old brick that can’t help but make you smile and just enjoy being in that moment as you walk through and take it all in. What better place to build a space that brings people together!

4. Tell us about some of the services you offer at Toast Event Space!

The main service we offer is the use of Toast for hosting your own events. We have add on services for tables, chairs and specialty item rentals as well. We also offer event packages where we easily organize the main details (Venue, Food, Drinks) for our clients event.
Additionally we will be hosting our own events and workshops to focus on what we’re all about!

5. If you could plan an event for anyone … anyone at all, in any time period, place on earth, anything – who would it be, and why?

Ok this is a tough one! First thing that comes to mind is my love of historical fiction and the incredible celebrations that kings and queens would host. I would have to say George IV in the 1800’s. He is known for curating some of the most grandiose banquets in royal history. This coupled with the beautiful gowns and romance of the time, this would be so much fun to plan and experience!

6. If you had a time machine, what historical event would you want to see, and why?

Another tough one! So many incredible moments. Again, first thing that comes to mind is Freddy Mercury and my love of Queen… to have been at the 1985 Live Aid concert and experience one of their best performances of all time. This was also an event that was organized to bring people together and unite them as a community. Efforts which raised over 100 Million Dollars for humanitarian efforts in Africa making it the biggest benefit concert in history.
