Our annual Candlelit Stroll is back!

On Friday, November 29th the businesses of Burlington Downtown invite you to enjoy a FREE* night of all things cheery, local and bright to help welcome the winter season. Starting at Civic Square (City Hall), we encourage visitors and residents alike to join our community for the lighting of the Tree of Hope. From there, enjoy a self-led winter wonderland in Burlington Downtown.

The fun doesn’t show signs of stopping, and we’ve got some popcorn for munching (thanks to our friends at Cogeco), the lights are turned way down low, so we can play a holiday movie at Centro Garden, so let us stroll, let us stroll, let us stroll.

While you might not need us to hold you tight, all the way home you’ll definitely be warm when you warm up with delicious snacks from White Meadows Farms, cookies from Bocconcino Bakery And Market, hot holiday soup with Pearl & Pine Retirement Residence, sliders from The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer & so much more.

Feel like strolling AND singing? Take in the sounds of the season with performances from Burlington Teen Tour Band, Burlington Concert Band and The Poacher Festival Singers & Ukulele Band.

From face painting to visits with Santa, from honoured (costumed) guests to our downtown small business members, it’ll be an experience you won’t want to miss! Remember to look out for our photographer who will be on-site to capture all the magic from this highly anticipated event.

Candlelit Stroll takes place Friday, November 29th. From 6pm to 7pm visit us at Civic Square (out front of City Hall) to collect your candles, glow sticks, activity route maps and enjoy a performance from Burlington Teen Tour Band from 6pm-6:30pm. Candlelit Stroll activities, food and activations begin at 6pm and go until 8:30pm. Please note: all activities outside of Civic Square will commence at 6pm.
