Winter Break Kids Camp

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until January 2, 2026
Winter Break Camp at Joseph Brant Museum is for children aged 5-12 years and runs from 9:00am -4:00pm on December 22, 23, 29, 20 and January 2. The cost is $55 per day (members receive 10% off). Each day is a different themed filled with games, crafts and fun! Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Email museumeducation@burlington.ca with any questions.
December 22
Learn about what life was like during the cold, dark winter months, and how people would have made cheer from the harvest to brighten up the days!
December 23
Learn about 4 different holidays and celebrations which take place through the winter months: Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yalda, and Las Posadas. We’ll play games, make crafts, and celebrate in style.
December 29
Join us for some snow-filled fun! Whether mother nature is cooperating or not, we’ll find fun ways to enjoy the winter season, with snowy experiments, art projects, and games.
December 30
We’re settling in for a cozy day – wear something cozy and comfy, like pajamas or sweats. We’ll build log cabins, enjoy some hot chocolate, and take it easy.
January 2
We’re exploring the Arctic today following in the footsteps of famous explorers, learning all about the landscape, flora and fauna, and the dangers that lurk in this snowy wonderland.
