COVID-19 UPDATE
Posted: Mar 20, 2020

We are in this together.

The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is providing regular updates related to COVID-19 on their webpage, and we recommend checking back with it regularly.

The City and many other local boards, agencies, organizations and public facilities have made the decision to close their doors in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Burlington’s business organizations (Team Burlington) which includes Burlington Economic Development, Burlington Chamber of Commerce, Burlington Downtown Business Association, Aldershot Village BIA and Tourism Burlington are taking a coordinated approach in engaging and supporting Burlington’s business community.

Your Burlington Downtown Business Association office at 414 Locust Street is closed to the public. Our staff is working remotely and is available to support our member businesses through this difficult and uncertain time.

The provincial and federal governments have made announcements pertaining to businesses and how they will be responding to the economic effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are in communication with these levels of government to ensure we stay educated and informed. If you have questions that are not addressed by the sources below, please reach out to us and we will do our best to source the information you are looking for.

To ensure we are readily available, the Burlington Economic Development office established a direct phone line that staff can access remotely. Please leave a voicemail, and someone will get back to you during business hours — (289) 337-5505 ext. 102. You may also email us at invest@burlington.ca.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We recognize that there is a lot of information coming out, from many different sources, and it can be difficult to know where to go for up-to-date and reliable information. It is our hope that the below list will make it easier and less overwhelming for businesses to get the information they need.
