Happy Birthday Canada!
Celebrate our nation’s birthday along Burlington’s waterfront. The day kicks off with a run in the morning and the fun goes into the night with great entertainment and fireworks at 10pm.
Bring your national pride to Burlington’s Canada Day celebration and enjoy free Canadian-inspired activities and entertainment at a beautiful lakeside setting.

Canada Day Road Closures: In order to safely accommodate the fireworks presentation, road closures will be needed from 9 to 11 p.m. Streets will reopen as soon as possible. Vehicles parked illegally in the event area will be tagged or towed to allow emergency access. Road Closure: Lakeshore Road between Elizabeth Street and Maple Avenue from 9 to 11 p.m. Resident Access Emergency services access will be maintained at all times in the event area.
