SUMMARY:Vocal Landscapes - An Evening of South Asian Music
DESCRIPTION:Saffron Strings invites you to Vocal Landscapes – an evening where the human voice becomes the art. \nSet within the Art Gallery of Burlington\, this is a listening-first experience rooted in South Asian classical music and ghazals. No large venue\, no background noise – just a small audience\, close to the artist\, in a space designed for music to land. \nThis is Saffron Strings’ third event. The first – an outdoor backyard concert – sold out. The second\, an evening at St. Paul’s Church\, drew a full and enthusiastic crowd. Each one has gone deeper\, more intentional\, more immersive than the last. \nIf you’ve been looking for an evening that slows things down and makes music feel personal again\, this is it. \nLimited seats. April 25 · 6:30 PM · Art Gallery of Burlington. \nThe Artists\nZara Ahmed – Vocalist\nBorn in Lahore and raised in Toronto\, Zara Ahmed is a Pakistani-Canadian singer inspired by the rich musical traditions of her heritage.
