Movies by the Lake ‘Creature Feature’: Beetlejuice (PG)

It’s Movies by the Lake! Presented by Creature Comforts Hvac Inc., our free, outdoor movie program is designed with all audiences in mind (please refer to schedule below for movie ratings). Set against the backdrop of beautiful Lake Ontario, settle in with your favourite people and enjoy a wide range of weekly films at dusk. From comedies, to 80s favourites, to iconic classics, there is something for everyone. All you need is your chairs & blankets!

THIS WEEK’S MOVIE: BEETLEJUICE

DESCRIPTION: After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose “help” quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.
