Sarah's Perfect Day
Posted: Mar 30, 2014

A visit with David at Salon Red for great conversation, to replenish my stock of hair care products, and a cut and treatment for my poor dry, abused hair. I always leave Dave feeling like a million dollars.

sarah loveTime to grab coffee for Beth (owner at Specs on Pearl) and myself from one of the best Barista’s in Burlington. I also grab some fresh roasted beans to go so that I Stewart and I can enjoy Tamp’s coffee at home too. Lastly, I will likely have to buy another coffee “containment canister” as my family keeps stealing the ones that I buy for myself and Stewart!

A visit with Beth to catch up and grab a new pair of glasses or sunglasses or maybe both — I really, really, really love glasses! She carries all of my favourite brands and is a wiz at picking the perfect style for you. I don’t even have to move off my stool she just zooms around and finds the absolutely perfect pair, every single time — and all the while I’m enjoying my yummy latte! Lastly, I get a “tune up” on the specs that I’m wearing or on any of the pairs that I have brought in for a tightening and cleaning.

Off to meet my girlfriends for lunch at Amaya Express: absolutely delicious Indian food with excellent and quick service. My favourite lunch: Pakora basket, Madras Chicken, a Lamb Curry, Basmati Rice and, to drink, black Tea.

Oh, there is soooo much to see here! Joelle’shas the perfect selection of women’s and men’s (Jeff’s Guyshop) clothing. I shop here for my casual and formal clothing. The sales associates are incredible at helping to select the perfect outfit. I also try to grab a new “outfit” for Stewart. Jeff has most unique mens hats I have ever seen!

My last stop before heading home. A perfect store for anyone who loves to cook and bake! Stir Kitchen has an incredible collection of quality cooking/baking supplies. I have also bought many hostess/host gifts here, but beware, it’s so hard to choose!
