Lorrie's Perfect Day
Posted: Apr 1, 2014

My day would begin by stopping into Coffee Culture to enjoy a cup of coffee and a toasted bagel to read the daily newspaper. I would then get one more to-go as I made my way over to A Different Drummer Books, where I could peruse new novels by my favourite authors and sit in the window by the sunlight.

I would then visit Gino at Tresses Hair for a fresh style and some enjoyable conversation, the salon is small but very inviting. Once my hair is done, I would meet up with my sister to enjoy a pedicure and manicure at Rosewater Spa – one of my favourite ways to relax.

All that pampering and relaxing has given us an appetite so onto Emma’s Backporch to sit on the patio and enjoy a cold beverage and a bit to eat while appreciating the best view in Burlington! After lunch, we would wonder throughout the downtown to do some shopping – with a definite stop at The Black Pearl and Fairhome to name a few of my favourite places.

After returning home to drop off my packages, my husband and I would look forward to a gourmet dinner at Honey West – their lobster bisque soup is one of my favourites. We would stay after dinner to enjoy to enjoy some live music to top off the evening.
